| Papua New Guinea has been called by some, ∪the last paradise on earth∩. Even urban Port Moresby possesses in the suburbs a resort spot fitting exactly the description of paradise known as Loloata Island. Explore and experience first hand the magnificent nature and culture of Papua New Guinea here on Loloata Island! |

The ocean surrounding the island has been described as ∪the most beautiful ocean of any national capital in the world∩. Excellent geographical conditions as well as a relative lack of sewage and industrial pollution from factories due to a smaller population compared to other capitals combine for an extremely low environmental impact.
Isolated in the Coral Sea, the island is a 20-min drive south from Port Moresby followed by a 10-min ferryboat ride. As the only spot entirely surrounded by the Coral Sea in Papua New Guinea, the island offers visitors the rich and fantastic colors of Asia and Oceania in an ocean environment. |

As the closest resort from Japan, Papua New Guinea sees its share of regular surfers and divers. Among highly recommended marine sports here are scuba diving, snorkelling and seakayaking. Rare marine species such as the pigmy seahorse and a variety of sea creatures beyond imagination abound along barrier reef walls and numerous ledges. Furthermore, the adjacent Lion Island features a multi-hued magical undersea world where green coral grows on the masts of the sunken ships, schools of sea goldies and purple queens swim and even more for guests to enjoy. |

No festival in Papua New Guinea can be described without mentioning Tok Pisin word Sing Sing - a general term referring to Papua New Guinea∏s ethnic dancing. Deeply rooted in the religious and cultural traditions of individual villages in each region, and originally performed in ceremonial occasions for coming of age, marriages, funerals, ancestral worship and wars, 500 kinds of dances are said to exist. Make sure to arrange for a performance in advance by, for example, participating in tours organized by a travel agency. Furthermore, the annually held national Sing Sing Festival displays songs and dancing of various tribes. |

The origin of the Sing Sing Festival is said to trace back to the colonial era when tribes showcased songs and dancing as a symbol of goodwill and this unique festival far removed from the contemporary world has gradually come to be recognized globally. The original goodwill has been replaced by more and more entertaining aspects and the festival has become one of the world's most valuable, where the traditional dance performances of multiple ethnic minorities can be observed all on one occasion. |
