カレル橋
|
| ヨ-ロッパに現存する最古の石橋雄大なブルタバ川(モルダウ川)にかかるカレル橋は、幅10m、全長500m以上。この橋の見どころは、その欄干にずらりと並ぶ見事な彫刻像である。橋は終日車両通行止めで幅も広いことから土産物を販売する露店もある。 |

旧市庁舎広場
|
| 旧市庁舎の南側には、2枚の大きな円盤からなる天文時計があり、このカラクリ仕掛けは必見。毎正時ごとに「死神」の合図と共に時計の上部にある窓が開き、キリストの12使徒が順番に姿を見せ、最上部の鶏の鳴き声で終わる。2枚の円盤のうち、上は年月日と時間を示しながら進む「プラネタリウム」で、1年で一周する。下は「カレンダリウム」と呼ばれ、天文獣12宮と農村の四季が描かれており、1日に1目盛り動く。 |
